Booker T. Washington made a big contribution to blacks not only given them an education but by making another school for blacks and speaking up for them. His work made many young want an education and be like him. The effect he made was a pretty big one a lot of Africans wanted an education. His legacy a an educator continues to inform the mission of the Tuskegee Normal and Industrial Institute, which in 1985 was granted university status and remains committed to the improvement of blacks life. It’s now known as Tuskegee University.
