His legacy a an educator continues to inform the mission of the Tuskegee Normal and Industrial Institute, which in 1985 was granted university status and remains committed to the improvement of blacks life. It’s now known as Tuskegee University.

I want you to know that Booker T Washington was a great leader and role model. Also that he was mixed with black and white. We benefit today is more and more kids are wanting an education and are making something out of their lives and not letting anything get in there way. The main thing that impressed me was that even though he was a slave he didn’t let anything get in his way of learning and getting education even in the time of war nothing could stop this man from wanting to make something of his life.

The thing that has most inspired me about this man is that he was living in one of the most horrible conditions but yet still wanted an education. I would love to be like this man and have a great education and make a school for kids to go and have kids look up to me as a great legacy for education. Also accomplish how many things he has like writing biographies and autobiographies.

Should Huckleberry Finn Be Taught In CHS
I think Huck Finn should be taught in CHS. Due to what I read it has a lot of things about history in it, like how meanly blacks were treated and how the government was not as advanced as it is today. One example of the government being ignorant is when Huck Finn killed a pig to fake his own death. If government was advanced as it is today they would have figured out it was animal blood and not human right away. On the other hand I feel we shouldn’t read it because I think it is inappropriate for them to be saying the n word as much as they do. Besides all the negativity the book is really good and educating about our history and how things were then and how they are now. It also makes me and others see how far we have come from them and how close blacks and whites are today.

Should We Have A Sex Class At CHS
In Huck Finn there are people who are ignorant about certain things. For example Jim is not well educated about how to speak and he is very superstitious and ignorant about things like ghost. For example the time Jim thought that Huck Finn was a ghost. He started begging for forgiveness. Now if he was educated enough he would know there is no such thing as ghost and know they don’t hurt you. Also he would know how to speak properly.
Like we were talking about in Huck Finn, how people due to lack of education are ignorant even though they think their right. That brings me to my point “should sex class be taught at CHS” lat me explain why I think it should. I think it’s important because if you don’t really know what your doing and the consequences then you can get yourself into mare trouble than if you were to know. Sex class should be apart of school for many reasons. Not teaching the consequences of sex is like not going to school and being put into society for a job. Of course you won’t know what you are doing. Which is my point we can’t be taught one thing and not another, you have to know what you are doing and not what you think you are doing. Me personally speaking I rather be taught about sex by some one who is educated about it than listen to what kids think and have to say about it because most likely they are going to be wrong also they never talk about the danger of it they always talk about the positive things because the negative things they don’t know that much about.
